Project Lead the Way
at
Manning Elementary School

As part of their energy conversions studies, 6th grade students will build a Rube Goldberg Machine (Compound/Complex Machine) that moves a load through a system of simple machines. Students will model how engineers can use various forms of energy to meet a human need or want.  A local industry will select the best and most cost efficient system to represent their industry as they form a business partnership with MES.

So these 6th grade students visited Central Carolina to explore 3D printing and where they created the prosthetic hand.
